I needed to do cardio but it was so cold out and I couldn't drive to the gym on time so... I did an at home HIIT workout! 😁

🌼High knees for 30 secs
🌼Burpees for 30 secs (I have a bad shoulder or else I would do a push up)
------Rest for 1 minute
🌼Mountain Climbers 30 secs
🌼Mountain Climber Variation 30 Secs
------Rest for 1 minute
🌼Toe touches 30 secs (jump higher and wider for more intensity)
🌼Squat jumps 30 secs
------Rest for 1 minute
☆Repeat Cycle for 15-30 mins. 💦Increase or decrease intervals and speed for your level. Make sure you're sweating 👍🏽😅but not completely out of breath👎🏽😰! .

Tired of your stale shoulder routine? Try these bad boys 🔥 🔥 •
1️⃣ Cable side lateral raises: find a wide cable machine and grab both of them. Put the cables on a setting that is about as high as your waist, and bend your arms slightly. Stand a little bit ahead of the cables, and raise them to above your head, just in front of your face. •
🔹
Go really slow in the negative to feel your muscles engaged and working. I would recommend going really light weight, the first set here I only used 5 lbs on each side, and then moved up to 10-15 as I went on. •
🔹
Think about keeping your thumbs pointed upward towards the ceiling, and this will really target your front delts, with a hint of side delt as well. Really explode on the way up, and keep the negatives slow and controlled.
2️⃣
We’ve all done standing shrugs with dumbbells, but how about seated barbell shrugs? Scooch your butt to the front of the bench and bend over slightly. Pick a heavy weight and shrug it from underneath you. You can either do underhand or overhand grip, whatever is most comfortable for you 👌🏽. •
🔹
Pause and hold the weight at the top of the rep for 2-3 seconds to really let that burn sink in. 
I typically like to go high rep on shrugs, anywhere from 15-25 reps because that’s where my traps really start to burn. •

Give these a try on your next shoulder day ! And really focus on those slow and controlled negatives on both of these ! •

Det händer inte ofta men idag kom jag på tusen ursäkter att inte träna - den ena sämre än den andra 😂😜 Att träna är det roligaste jag vet så om jag av någon anledning inte känner för att göra det låter jag inte mig själv komma undan så lätt utan ifrågasätter VARFÖR innan jag ger upp och skiter i det. Behöver jag verkligen vila? Har jag brustit i mina förberedelser på något sätt? Är det något annat som inte stämmer?
