Finally hit a 315 bench with a clean rep. Felt good enough I wanted to go for a second even though I knew I wasn’t able to get it. 
Always remember, doing your 1rm (and it actually being your max) isn’t a good way to train to build strength. It’s inefficient in comparison. If you’re wanting to build strength you want to aim between 3-5 reps maxing out to failure. 
I on the other hand am driven by ego so although it’s not the most efficient way to train I’m not specifically trying to maximize strength gains for anything specific. 
1️⃣Bench press 
2️⃣Incline chest press (heavy)
3️⃣Chest press pause sets. Going to failure, waiting 5-10 seconds then jumping back in for a few more reps
4️⃣(dame as above... ish) Swapping from wide grip to inside grip mid set for the change. 
5️⃣Chest fly to chest press superset 
After this I did a few different Tricep exercises with the cables. (Not shown here)

Today was a great #Chest and #Tricep workout😤 definitely seeing a much better increase in my bench as of late. I used to be stuck on 135lb for the longest time, but I’m no longer babying my muscles. I hit 175lb for 3 reps, but I’m still 25lb from hitting the #200LBS club💪🏾💪🏾 Diddy kong to Donkey🦍 #StayFitDontQuit
