I'm Frank. My story is probably like most of us. As a child never did exercise, all I did was party and have fun till my thirty when I got married and have children. At 40 doctor told me I had high cholesterol, blood pressure and my weight was 235 size pants 38. He said I had two choices exercise or pills and I choose the first one and never looked back. Today, I feel better than ever with all my health issues under control without meds. My age is 56. I'm a proud dad of 3 children and workout 5 days a week. I love the gym and i tell people no matter your age, it is never too late to exercise.

Shoulder day today. I have terrible shoulder muscles, and when I was standing up the light made me look like my entire upper body was om fire  so I'm sharing some ab moves 😂

Have to say that going back to more 'standard' ab exercises (There were a lot of compound moves that worked everything, and sliders (🙈) in 80 day obsession) I'm pretty happy with how much better I feel in them 💪💪

THINGS are definitely looking up in 2019. Grateful for my 8:43/mi pace today. After working my way through a hip injury this last year, it is a blessing to me to be back at this level and routine of running. Last year at this time, I was truly discouraged because being on the later side of my forties recovering from an injury just takes longer — just being real. 😏 I will say this, while I have always loved running, with all the life lesson parallels that come with it, this lesson was one of the most challenging. Before my injury (10-2018) I was really pleased with how far my body and running had come since pre-childbearing-years. 🙂 Then boom, OUCH! No can do. Running was OUT of the question. This was not a run through the pain. It was all that is required is rest and slow, steady, patient rehab. SO, with all that said, I see once again, this process reminds me and teaches me, that I have a choice. How much will this injury really effect me? Will I let it go beyond the physical and let it effect me emotionally, relationally, etc.? I think some of y’all can relate. Will I do what I can and press a little harder? Is it worth it? Now that I am coming out on the other side, I am paying more attention to how to fully care for myself — intentionally and wholistic. As I age, I am learning to accept it, but I am also going to keep on doing what I love—making the adjustments I need to as I go along. I’m ok with not running like I did at my peak in my pre-childbearing years. I am just so very grateful for each day that I get out there. •
