Alright guys as promised... 8 weeks in the trenches with my otf members for this transformation challenge... and here is my starting point!! However... my point of this post is to show you guys why the scale isn’t the most important  aspect during your journey.... this picture, taken today, I weight 157.4 pounds. Heaviest Iv ever weighed to be honest! Lol a little shocked to see the scale, however... this is exactly why the scale isn’t something to focus on... sure I gained a few pounds of fat .. cause, holidays 💁🏼‍♀️ I think we are all guilty.. and guess what, who cares!!! I bet most of you wouldn’t of guessed I weighed 157 lbs.. weight comes in all shape and sizes ... and not always do those lbs on the scale give you an accurate BMI these days... BUT Holidays are over and now, I’m in the gym regularly, 4 days a week minimum again, which I can’t remember the last time I was able to do. This year is the year I made a goal to focus a little more on GIA. Getting back to the things I love and finding more balance in my life (gym, friends, work, maybe stepping out of the house more than once a year 😳) ... a transformation challenge is just that... you TRANSFORM.. more than just the weight on the scale (because remember the scale doesn’t have to own us😉) ......It takes 3 weeks to form a habit.. well, we have 8 weeks of accountability to not just form new healthy habits but to also develop a routine to kick off our new year on the right foot!! So with all this being said, focus on TRANSFORMING your entire self, reaching goals, and not just watching (or obsessing) over a scale 😘 here’s to 8 weeks my friends!! #otfcoach #otfah #dreamteam

I’m going to be food real with you.

This picture looks like a good meal and I ate it, but after eating spinach in my eggs several times it’s safe to say I don’t like this. 
I don’t like spinach in my eggs... Why did I even start eating this if I didn’t really like it? 
Well a long time ago a fitness magazine told me to and it just stuck with me (plus spinach is super good for you), but I just inhaled it because I hated the taste.

Are you like this? 
Do you eat things just because a weight loss program tells you to?

Been doing a lot of cardio recently just so I can burn off some of this fat, once I’m like 10 lbs lighter I’ll start working in my weights again. Day two of eating perfect with an amazing workout! I’m super satisfied! I’m starting to feel lighter and my clothes are getting less tight! Powerlifting, bodybuilding, Olympic lifting, cardio, etc... is accepted here and no one is gonna bat an eye and judge you for what you're doing. Everyone here has the same goal, to better themselves. @jarred_burt is a great PT, specializing in powerlifting. He's also the owner. How many gyms do you go to where you get meet and talk with the owner on a daily basis? For real, $28 a month, 24/7 key fob access, clean, and a fun atmosphere! Don't pass it up!

Every night after my workout and dinner I have a protein shake with glutamine added. Glutamine is amazing for post recovery, improves skin tone, helps with your digestive system, and boosts immunity just to name a few. I’m in fat burning mode 95% of the time with my new workout program so protein is vital to maintain that lean muscle mass. I used @iheartmacros protein powder(by far the best tasting and most easily digested protein I’ve had), 1 tablespoon of glutamine powder, a little bit of chocolate fudge sugar free pudding mix for flavor, and a few ice cubes. So dang good and curbs the sweet tooth.💪🏻
