Tämä harjoitus venyttää etureisiä ja lonkkia. On minusta hyvä vastaliike alaskoiralle. Tätä harjoittelemalla oppii ymmärtämään lonkkien & etureisien toiminnan tärkeyden ylöskoirassa! Lämmittele hyvin, tee esim storyn harjoitukset sekä molemmat lonkkavenytykset polvien päällä jotka postasin eilen &tänään. Katso videota tarkkaan: Polvet yhdessä. Huomaa että olkapäitä EI vedetä taakse, vaan ne kierretään eteen, solisluut&lapaluut leveinä. Nojaa jännitettyihin sormenpäihin, älä laita koko kämmentä alas. Tärkeää on vetää häntä, istuinluut& peppu sisään, häpyluu ylös kohti napaa, napaa sisään, uloshengittäessä kylkiluut sisään. Työnnä ylös, pyri ylläpitämään jalkojen kapea asento, leuka alas. Venytä 5 hengitystä. Voit toistaa 3 kertaa. Loppuun rentoutus. 
This stretches hips&quads, is a good counterpose to downdog. Warm up well, try stretches featured in my story & 2 hip stretches posted before. Watch video& pay attention: Knees together. Notice that shoulders are rotated forward, NOT pushed back. Keep collarbones&shoulder blades wide. Keep strong fingers on mat, don’t lean into heel of hand. Turn tail&sitsbones&buttocks in, pubic bone to belly button, belly in. Exhaling close front of ribs in. Push pelvis up rounding, maintain narrow knees, chin down. Stretch for 5 breaths and release. You may repeat 3 times. Then round spine relaxing over knees.

My practice is modified for the past one week due to an injury. .

Does it hurt to do dropbacks with one arm? Is it advisable?

Yes, you might hurt yourself if you don't control your dropbacks. Ashtanga practice builds a lot of core & back strength, along with body awareness. So I am in control of my backbends, I isolate and fold using my strength and flexibility... so no harm to my other arm... 😊
