This video makes me really happy! 😇 showing all the gains I’ve been working so hard for pop out without an insane pump is so motivating! Back is easily one of my favorite muscle groups to train, and I’m so proud of the size and definition I’ve put on this year. I’ve come a LONG way in such a short amount of time. I’m chalking it up to heavy weights, controlled movements, lots of food, and my coach @kurt_swolbain23 ❤️

Fuck that forreal. If I didn’t track macros and my eating I could eat wayyyy more than a human probably should because I love food. But PLEASE fuel your body properly. Eat all the food and go lift some heavy shit cause it’ll make you feel better.

The other day when I grabbed 40 pound dumbbells to do lunges with I had some guys at the gym look at me funny.

Like yes I’m 5 foot 2 and ~140 pounds but I’m gonna go lift my heaviest whether you like it or not.

Embrace your strength. Step into your power. And for the love of god please stop trying to shrink yourself by being smaller.

You don’t need to do hours of cardio (unless you’re a fellow weirdo like me who enjoys running) and eat like a bird. .
It’s a slow process but I promise you that you will feel a million times better. Love yourself. Even if that means enjoying your ice cream because of your so called “diet”.

I’ll let you in on the secret that skinny teas and diet fads don’t work. But you probably knew that already. .
Love yourself. The process is slow and not linear in anyway but you’ll come farther than you can imagine. I promise you that.

Im tired of hearing I can’t. Tired of hearing it can’t be done. Tired of people giving up. I took 6 months off, I hit the lowest of lows and was in the worst shape I’ve ever been in, I had no motivation, no drive, and I had no desire to step foot back in the gym. When I did I felt the lowest of lows, my strength was gone, my size was gone, I felt like I didn’t belong.  I had zero confidence....

I gritted my teeth and I kept pushing, one day at a time one lift at a time, kept my head down and worked, pushed through it all and found a way to the gym everyday since going back... a month in and I’m on track to be better than ever...

I haven’t had a transformation like this ever.. and it’s not because of what I’ve done physically but mentally. I’ve hit so many walls during this challenge and it’s forced me out of my comfort zone to tear them down. With always comparing my progress to others, not valuing my progress in general, giving up on myself, getting lazy, become inconsistent.. the list can go on! This program has helped me push past so many boundaries that limited me from growing in my fitness journey but in my personal life as well! I’m so excited to see what I accomplish after this challenge now that i have my mojo back. To create my own workouts and plans again!
