A good booty building exercise paired with a wonderful advanced technique are a sure fire way to have those glutes on fyaaa 🔥🔥
I did 4 rounds of these at the end of my workout with 90 second rest in between! 
Technique: MTUT 3’s (introduced to me by @samtheman244)
Exercise: barbell hip thrust
Execution: Choose a weight that you can easily do 10-12 reps with. 
Do 3 controlled medium pace reps followed with one very (painfully) slow concentric and eccentric. Repeat 3 times for one set.

MY RESULTS STILL AMAZE ME 😍 
The first photo - me in the past compared to this summer. The second photo - me in the past compared to a month ago. The last photo was taken the other day, in the midst of recovering from my horrendous cold I have at the moment! 🙈🤧 As many of you may know I’m a S.A.D (Seasonal Affective Disorder) sufferer and therefore this time of year is particularly hard for me due to the lack of sunshine and shorter days etc. 
Therefore I’ve decided to make this time round a bit easier on myself (if I can) and focus my mind on something to get me through the hard times and so I don’t end up falling too hard and not being able to get back up again so to speak! 
I’ve decided to focus my mind firstly on my health I’m healthy each day anyway but I’m cutting right down on drinking alcohol and cutting spirits out, allowing me to focus on what my body craves each day - being fruit, veg and lots of goodness!! 😍 
I’m also focusing on my fitness, going to regular spin classes when I can and doing a lot of home workouts like HIIT, fitness dvds, following exercises from The Body Coach himself on here daily and possibly even getting back into my running when it’s safe and the weather allows me to... even though I’d quite happily run in the rain now and again!! 💪🏼 I’m determined to get to the BEST possible point in my fitness, get toned, get that six pack I’ve always wanted and just being completely and utterly in love with my own body!!! LET’S FUCKING DO THIS 👊🏼💥 _______________________________________________________

FIVE TIPS FOR WEIGHT ROOM NEWBIES!

Tomorrow is Monday. Maybe it’s the Monday that you’re finally going to start your fitness journey for real. If so, congratulations!

I know it can be overwhelming and intimidating to start a new fitness regimen, especially if you are choosing to try things you haven’t done before.

In my own experience, the weight room can be somewhat intimidating to women, especially if we aren’t yet familiar with it. So I’m going to give you tips on how to minimize any discomfort so you can feel confident and kick ass!

1. Try to go to the gym at a time of day where it isn’t busy, especially while you’re still learning. Not only will you have your choice of equipment, but without many people around, you will feel less self-conscious as you get used to the weights!

2. Stick to the basics. No need to jump right into the fancy, complicated movements you’ve seen on Instagram. The basics are much easier to learn and THEY WORK.

3. It’s okay if you stay away from things that look particularly difficult in the beginning. Yes, I want you to push past your comfort zone, but taking baby steps will allow you to get comfortable enough to start trying new things!

4. Hire a personal trainer for a session or two if you want someone to show you around the gym. Having someone help you find things and make sure your form is correct can really help you to feel confident going forward!

5. And last but not least, don’t worry about the people around you. We honestly aren’t worried about what you’re doing. Guys, you have to be doing something REALLY, REALLY wrong for us to even notice you. I’m talking, making up your own exercises that make absolutely no sense. Not having perfect squat form? We’re not watching you closely enough to notice.

Taking charge of your fitness is such a huge accomplishment in and of itself, and you should be proud of yourself for taking the steps to start!  None of us walked into the weight room and got it all right on day one. It takes time, consistency, and (a lot of) practice. 
Hold your head up high, walk up to those weights, and start killing it, girlfriend. I’m confident you’ve got this.

Not every “treat” has to be a bad one! Nice big slab of sirloin from the local butcher for dinner tonight. I’m basically made of chicken I eat so much of it, so it’s nice to have something different on the pallet, and nice for it to be a piece of steak!
