We’re constantly evolving as people but not all changes we undergo are for the better. E.g. can you remember times when you were healthier or happier or more content than you are now? Have the last few months/years changed you such that you find yourself missing the person you once were? (Desiring things, relationships from your past is a completely different thing though.)

If your answer is yes, it’s time to reverse the changes you’ve undergone. It will not be easy but it’s an exercise worth taking up. Let’s get to it then.

Take out time to sit and analyze who you used to be and who you are today. What are the choices you’ve made in the recent months/years that have made you your current self? Did your friend circle change? Did your goals and thus, the direction you work in change? Did you undergo loss in some form? Did you fail in a relationship and become cynical as a result?

1) You must honestly ask yourself questions and trace your trajectory to understand why you’re standing in your present position. Once you’ve done this, write down who you wish to be AGAIN.

2) Then the question to answer is ‘Are the changes reversible?’ Often they are e.g. you need to change your diet or become more active or change the people you spend time with or the goals you are working towards or the stuff you’re watching online.

SMALL choices make a BIG IMPACT because every choice affects us either positively or negatively. Identify the cause of your unhappiness and begin changing/rectifying it.

3) If you can’t undo the events that have changed you e.g when you’ve undergone a loss then you need to CHANGE your PERSPECTIVE. It’s possible to view the night as a time when everything seems devoid of light and hope but it’s also possible to view it as a time to suspend activity and recuperate so we can begin afresh. .

Our prospectives are the MOST POWERFUL of all things. By controlling them, we can control how we feel and behave.

You can be healthier, happier, more successful, more content..whatever you wish. By being MINDFUL and making the RIGHT CHOICES, you can become the version of yourself you once were and wish to be again.
