🔑 Once you achieve a baseline level of joint mobility/control and movement capacity, then moving more directly allows you to improve your movement skill. Not just moving more, but moving in more ways and doing a variety of different things with your body allows you to test your movement system in different environments though different tasks.
↪️ More movement and more movement variety compiles to give you a more robust and developed movement system, which ultimately spills over into any given activity, sport, or movement task.
🧠 It’s all a brain game. Building more neural connections in the part of your brain concerned with movement develops deeper and stronger connections over time. Neurons that fire together, wire together ⛓

The abs are a small muscle group and in my opinion don’t require long lengthy workouts (perhaps slightly longer than the video below 😉). ⁣

If the intensity is kept high then I find a sufficient workout can be achieved in 12-15 minutes. Because the abs are small and recover quickly, we can train them more often. Keep it short, sharp and consistent. ⁣
