Yep I did... I was walking into the gym wondering why my ankle hurt so much...(1st x unsupported in a tennis shoe) I looked down as saw I taped the wrong ankle...brilliant! I managed to swap the tape but it was a very rough crossover! But it held up... as I get home I started noticing my meniscus and mcl injury was hurting more than it had hurt in months... brilliance display x2 I didn’t tape my knee...instead I taped the ankle of the knee I was suppose to tape... more convinced than ever #rocktape is super fab... hopefully the newly acquired owners will get the website and employees on track to take my order.. I’ve been trying for 3 weeks to order none successful! An injured croc at the rainforest - hooray! On the second day of the rafting trip (two weeks ago) I injured my shoulder. Well, I didn’t (someone else did - but that’s a longer story), so I haven’t done a handstand, or really been able to lift my arm or put any weight on it the whole trip. I can’t remember the last time I had an injury, so not being able to use my body has been a huge lesson in patience and a good opportunity to practice Alexander Technique - while surrounded by crazy opportunities to raft, ride horses, kayak, and most difficult for me, teach without being able to demonstrate! The injury is challenging me to be creative and experiment with alternative ways of using my body. I’m also trying to not complain or be frustrated. 1. Single leg glute bridge. Make sure to brace the core and squeeze your glutes. Don’t allow the pelvis to drop to one side. If that happens there could be an anti-rotation core issue at hand you may need to address. .

2. If the single leg variation is too challenging for you (example: can’t breathe or talk during the movement= brute effort) you can try the two legged bridge to single leg eccentric version. Go slow on the lowering phase to reap the most benefit. .

3. Banded glute bridge around the knees to encourage more drive to the hip abductors. .

FUN FACT: After I tore my Acl/Mcl and had surgery... I never thought I’d surpass the level of physical fitness that I was at prior to my injury.... let alone be able to do a pistol squat.
BUT I CAN.

FUN FACT: After I tore my Acl/Mcl and had surgery... I never thought I’d surpass the level of physical fitness that I was at prior to my injury.... let alone be able to do a pistol squat. BUT I CAN. Have some faith in your own capabilities. Consistently working towards your goals is key. Even if you don’t think you can, or think ya might fall flat on your face.... I mean you might lmao but sometimes you just gotta say f*ck it, and risk it all for that GD biscuit 👅🤟🏼💀 • Also, Fenni has a new friend!! These instant stitches could save your a trip to the hospital 🤕

Tough month in Europe got injured in my second trip in Portugal but pulled it off and was able to try fighting in Paris Grand slam and the European Open in Rome. Surprisingly I was able to win my first fight in Italy against the polish champion but then lost to the Chinese Olympic bronze medalist. Unfortunately I wasn't able to train during the camps but I still have a positive attitude towards it all. I made lots of amazing friends and I'm really thankful for this whole experience. Sometimes life decides to test your patience at the strangest time and put you through hard obstacles but that's when you must fight back! Remember that the days that break you are the days that make you. Now it's time for good recovery. I'll come back stronger very soon 👊🏼
