I’m not going to lie. 
I left class not wanting to be here.
I was exhausted.

He wasn’t wrong.
I can do whatever I want. 
I can choose to not show up.
Or I can show up!

I’ve had some vets ask me, “ I don’t know how you find the time or the motivation to always go to the gym.”
And once in a blue moon 🌙I don’t want to. 
But those are the days I show up. 
Sometimes you just have to SHOW UP. And this training day was probably one of my best training days I had in a while. 
What I’m getting at is you choose how to live your life. No one will ever make you do anything in life. 
Training is privilege. For that I am grateful.

Stepped off the plane in SLC and had a little time before a meeting to hit a jerk double PR at 100kg(220lbs) for +3kg. Reread my programming to realize I was supposed to do 3 reps. Backed it down for a 3 rep PR at 91kg(200lbs) for +6kg. Thanks to @slccrossfit for letting me drop in and lift! --------------------------------------------------

Nutrition is so important for baseball players. Good nutrition will help you recover faster, build lean muscle mass and perform at your highest level. It is oftentimes a major limiting factor for a lot of athletes I work with. Most baseball athletes fall into a weight gain or weight maintain category. This can leave you with a needed calorie intake of 4000-5000 calories a day (depending on the guy). A great way to get in a bunch of calories, macros and micros in one sitting is a super shake. This is one of our more popular shakes for guys looking to gain weight. It is super high calorie with high quality ingredients and a great way to knock off 1400+ calories from your calorie intake goals first thing in the morning or at night post workout.
