Session 1 today - all dem squats! No knee sleeves today, so nothing too fancy. Back squat triples 3 sets at 150kg felt smooth. Front squat singles just to get back in the groove, pushed 120kg and 125kg quite comfortably! It's not Tuesday but here's a 1 year transformation.

Left is February 2018, right is February 2019. (And not 2017/2018 like I put yestetday in my story🤦‍♀️).
.
I never had much problems growing my upper body but my legs.... well it has been a journey😅.
.
First of all I always was stronger on top so I always preferred training my upper body, and I would train it with much more intensity than my legs.
.
Last year I decides I would do whatever it takes to grow some bloody legs.
I also decided I would become a powerlifter and focus on performance rather than looks.
.
I started training with @team_wtp
In October. And let me tell you that most of those fains happened between October and Now.
.
Having a programme designed for me by someone else forced me to do the work basically.
And boom, here's some legs!!! .
I also went back to calories counting , mainly to make sure I eat enough protein and enough calories.
To grow this legs I had to train like a beast and eat like a monster.
.
And you know what it's all worth it.
I now have legs that don't look like sticks and most importantly, I can finally squat. Those legs allowed me to squat 14 times my previous 1RM.

And this is just the beginning, 2019 is already a good year.

⁣Had a lot of sets and reps on bench press yesterday. I was really excited about that, since I feel like my bench press is falling a bit behind.⁣⁣
I'm working on cueing myself to reach for the bar with my chest/sternum (especially at the bottom position), since I typically loose a bit of my arch after each rep. This can clearly be seeen at around 3 reps.⁣ Overall a nice session once again!⁣

Not shared anything lifting on here in a non-IG Story in a while. Weight has been yo-yoing all over the place for various reasons. Decided to try and get myself leaner again so have gone on one of my old skool no carb diets. Weight is flying off so decided to test the strength levels a bit. 170kg squat felt great, 200kg deadlift not so much 😂. Still, glad I got it up. Bench has been pretty stable as well (no video of that). Might even see my long lost abs soon 😜

I was supposed to try the #yoke for the first time today....

Unfortunately when I got to the gym I found out the lowest bar height has me on my tiptoes (aaaand that the yoke weighs 140kg empty, which I guess I can calf raise 😂 but was unlikely to be able to walk around), so I used the barbell with @benchfitnessequipment #silverdollar attachments instead. .

Not sure if this was a good idea or not, @teamgpt, but it was fun (and a little scary 🙈)! And I was certainly not going to NOT try. You tell me yoke walk and I’m definitely going to do SOMETHING 🤓

It’s made me realise that people really don’t listen or communicate in any way and it’s super frustrating to say the least. Especially on the daily!! Why is it so hard? Honestly! With that being said though I also had the best fucking session tonight at gym. Every rep was focused and precise. Every accessory hurt good. Every part of my being wanted to breakdown but every fibre in me didn’t allow it. It’s moments like tonight where I’m truly grateful my mind is stronger than I think because better things are now going to come if I make it through all the bullshit. Just slowly plotting away and I’m hoping the next couple of months pan out how I’ve got planned.
