Quelle importance d'avoir vingt...! Quarente..! Soixante ans...!!

As I get older and wiser each day, I reflect on why I get anxious, stressed, or emotional over what may seem so little and unimportant externally, but creating a little whirlwind internally. I don't kick myself for feeling as I do, but self-reflect to further understand myself and to re-ground myself as much as I can.
I am still human, and I will only continue to learn to navigate through life.

Jerash, located 48 kilometers north of Amman is considered one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. To this day, its colonnaded streets, baths, theaters, plazas and arches remain in exceptional condition. Within the remaining city walls, archaeologists have found the ruins of settlements dating back to the Neolithic Age, indicating human occupation at this location for more than 6500 years. This is not surprising, as the area is ideally suited for human habitation. The history of Jerash is a blend of the Greco-Roman world of the Mediterranean basin and the ancient traditions of the Arab Orient. Indeed, the name of the city itself reflects this interaction. The earliest Arab/Semitic inhabitants, who lived in the area during the pre-classical period of the first millenium BCE, named their village Garshu. The Romans later Hellenised the former Arabic name of Garshu into Gerasa.

I've recently read many posts about travelers-Americans in particular- disliking Parisian food. I would like to make a few suggestions that may help to change a few minds. 1. Do not go to other countries expecting the food to be exactly like your food at home. If you want American food then I respectfully suggest that you travel throughout America. 2. Be open to new flavors and different tastes. They have different spices and ingredients in other countries. 3. Eat where the locals eat. Stay away from tourist trap restaurants. The food is mediocre at best. 4. Go on food tours. Locals will help you find the best restaurants and eats off the beaten path that tourists will never find on their own. 5. Book a dinner experience in a local's home. Nothing's better than a home cooked meal. Book an experience with Airbnb or download the Eat With App that allows you to book dining with locals. Last but not least, Do Something Different. The whole purpose of traveling abroad is to have unique experiences. Put away your inhibitions and HAVE FUN! You only live once. Bon Appetit. #paris #foodtours #foodie #foodies #dosomethingdifferent #france #eat #foodporn #wanderer #wanderlust #travels #advice #culture #positivevibes #havefun

Acting up at night 😂

Another sunny, beautiful day in Seattle, Washington. A truly rare occasion for me, as I’ve always remembered Seattle to have the gloomy, rainy weather. •
•
Visited one of my favorite farmers markets at the historic 112 year old Pikes Place! •
•
As always, so much energy, vibrancy, and amazing “stuff” to say the least. Found some delicious ghost pepper infused sea salt, tried some delicious rainier cherries, and just enjoyed a day away from the stress of work and school (training still exists). •

SIDE NOTE: That moment I realize the guy in yellow may have been filming me, but I flipped it on him, I have his face and GoPro frozen in time 🤪
