Is anybody like me...am I wrong or does it feel like the hardest thing trying to Get back into your normal routine after an event, vacation or an occasion such as your birthday where you enjoyed yourself a little more than you normally would. Like damn near impossible. - “Oh no! I ruined all my progress.” - “All my hard work was for nothing.”

Well I’ll tell you think. I’ve thought these same thoughts. -

Thoughts or not I’m getting back on track because the other option..is the last place I want to be. -

WORKOUT OF THE WEEK

Es ist wieder einmal Montag, was bedeutet, es gibt wieder ein Workout zum nachmachen und Gas geben für dich.

Dieses Workout haben wir selbst mittlerweile schon zwei Mal gemacht, nur immer wieder ein bisschen abgewandelt.
Wir können es nicht oft genug betonen, wie viel fitter wir geworden sind, seitdem wir intensives Zirkeltraining machen. Das Wort mit Cross und Fit erwähne ich bewusst nicht, dieses löst in machen entweder ein Geschwür oder Ängste aus 🙂

So, nun zum Training. Wir haben uns orientiert an dem Workout „The Seven“. Es gibt eine vorgegebene Rundenzahl (in unseren Fall waren es immer sieben Runden). Damit wir dem Namen treu bleiben, haben wir uns sieben Übungen, zu je sieben Wiederholungen, ausgesucht. Hier unsere beiden Workouts:

Einsteiger/Anfänger:
▪️TRX Rudern
▪️Liegestütz (Erhört auf einer Box)
▪️Bauchübung nach Wahl (Crunches/Tip Toe/Explosiv Sit Ups)
▪️Kettlebell Swings
▪️Thrusters mit Kurzhanteln (Kniebeuge + Schulterdrücken)
▪️Bauchübung nach Wahl (Crunches/Tip Toe/Explosiv Sit Ups)

Superman mit dem Handtuch

Fortgeschritten:
▪️Klimmzüge
▪️Devil Press / Burpees
▪️Kettlebell Swings
▪️Toe 2 Bar oder Knee to Ellbow
▪️Kreuzheben
▪️Thrusters oder Box Jumps
▪️Bauchübung nach Wahl (Crunches/Tip Toe/Explosiv Sit Ups)

Wie schon erwähnt – sieben Runden, sieben Übungen, sieben Wiederholungen. Dies kann natürlich beliebig geändert werden. Zum Beispiel in ein ausdauerndes Workout mit hohen Wiederholungen, ohne, wenig, bis kein Gewicht.

These posts will now feature the options from each of the Big Red programming options. ◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾
- 20/16 calories means 20 calories for males, and 16 for females. ◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾
This shows 3 ways to maintain the desired intensity for the 12 minute AMRAP. 
The ELITE WOD features a snatch you can perform in any manner - muscle, power, squat etc. The calories are consistently mid range on the bike requiring more power output, and the double unders are enough to go unbroken with. 
The PERFORMANCE WOD shows a way to keep consistent pacing through the workout, with focus on barbell cycling the power snatch and efficient double under practise, with reps that will not leave you resting too much with the skipping rope.

The ESSENTIALS WOD keep the weight the same but adapts the movement type to suit less technical needs with a barbell. The single unders are enough so that the athlete can maintain unbroken sets that will not disrupt the intensity of the workout.
