This #streetclassics100k contest might be the first instagram contest I’m genuinely stoked to follow. Lottttta good stuff to come from this. If street is your thing, head on over to @street.classics and give it a look.

Chicago snow day classics. Felt like everyone and their mother was out shooting yesterday. Good times 🤘🏼

Fun news! I teamed up with the awesome people at @wayward to put together a journal entry around the recent PNW weekend. Basically some takeaways from the trip - what to do / not to do. I had a blast putting it together even though, and I’ll be the first to admit it, writing is not one of my strong suits. Link in both of our bios, hope you enjoy! Also checkout their story for some additional shots + behind the scenes stuffs

Oregon’s natural blues and burnt oranges are something else. My favorite color combination, I was in heaven over there 👌🏼

2019 goals: 1) Get a dog - specifically a golden or a cattle dog 2) Renew driver’s license 3) Go on road trips out west with said dog. // Thanks to Sean for the first photo, swipe to see the view through my camera.

Watching these waves crash up against the shoreline was unreal in person. Talk about power. The scale was difficult to capture - those are trees in the foreground as the splash was probably a couple hundred feet tall. The sound alone was really impressive. I now understand when people tell you to never turn your back on the ocean.

I had a list of in-camera double exposures that I wanted to try on the trip, specifically shots with the rock formations. I ended up with one. I took one. And no rocks 🤦🏼‍♂️

Meet Princess Leia. She came in HOT and just plopped down on my foot after it was clear I’d give her all the attentions. It’s about the little moments - strolling down Cannon Beach, camera in-hand and meeting all the dogs. I don’t know if it gets any better than that.

This place was W I L D. Devil’s Cauldron in Oswald West State Park, what a sight. Swipe to see the perspective looking back at where Sean is standing / crouching / whatever is happening here.

Big rock guy here. One of the main takeaways from the weekend was how much bigger Haystack Rock is in person vs photos. Thing is MASSIVE, photos never do it justice. Sean posted a clip last night of this second frame - he’s been extremely dedicated to improving his video skills for awhile now and it’s showing. Go give it a look 👉🏼 @sean.muckle

A little change in perspective can go a long way. I could’ve just sat and watched the waves crash into these rocks all day long.

Probably my personal favorite from the trip, taken on the drive to the airport through Tillamook State Forest. Felt like a different world. Persistent rain and patchy fog brought on all the moody feels.

For awhile now I’ve been working on being more comfortable in front of the camera. It’s a lot easier with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop. W/ @ebbetsvintage

(3 of 3) PNW Vibes. This past weekend, Sean (@sean.muckle) and I took a trip out west to explore the coast of Oregon for a couple of days. Basically a short version of my dream road trip. Unplugged pretty much the entire weekend and just vibed with Mother Nature. We were both left speechless on multiple occasions - that part of the country is unreal. For months I’ve been really inspired by a certain style, a very-PNW look, and I think we’re almost there. For the next couple of weeks I’m planning on sharing mostly images / clips from this trip, and a blog spot with the awesome people at @wayward is in the works. Hope you enjoy the work and thanks for following along, means more than you know!
