Revisiting some shots from Amsterdam and all the glorious moped reflections. I could hunt them all day long 🔎
I love that you can tell almost immediately if someone loves or hates snow. I feel like there’s no in between there, either you’re miserable or in heaven. Unfortunately it’s looking like we’re done for the year.
I spent the last 4/5 days in Colorado hanging with family, recharging, and enjoying the fresh pow. It was the first time I’ve been skiing and been able to take the big boy camera up on the mountain. Wasn’t sure how that was going to work out, but we got lucky with some wild conditions (shown through lots of additional shots on the story). Visual storytelling is a constant work in progress, and I’ve been enjoying putting these storyboards together. Hope you dig ‘em 🤘🏼
Exciting news! I’m stoked to announce that @sean.muckle and I are teaming up with @wayward to host a Chicagohenge Photowalk in Wicker Park on Thursday, the 21st, from 5:00-7:30pm. A little meet and greet action at the store with beers provided by @ontourbrewing, then we’ll hit the streets to capture some street shots and Chicagohenge from a fresh perspective. All experience levels and camera types are welcome 🤘🏼 Best part - It’s totally free. Space is pretty limited so go smash that register button in my bio. Additional details in the link or on my story, and feel free to DM me with any questions! I’m super excited for this.
I’m not exaggerating when I say this, I think every person in this frame was on their cell phone. I hate it so much.
I feel like I’ve got a good amount of snow footage from this winter that could be really dope if it were in the hands of someone who actually knows how to edit and color grade video. Until then, it shall sit on one of my hard drives and do nothing.
Update: Still cold.
This time next week I’ll be in Colorado shredding some gnar and I couldn’t be more excited. Been feeling a little out of it the last couple of weeks, mostly because of the weather in Chicago, so I’m looking forward to a change of scenery 🗻⛷
Reflection master at work. He doesn’t like to be interrupted 💁🏻♂️
This city has been home for almost 5 years now. Thinking about that is a quick way to make me feel super super old.
Coffee hangs with @melaniepmcnulty. Actor, writer, ambitious hustler, coffee connoisseur, spotify playlist master, and all around rad person. Keep killin it 🤙🏼
Some very large mood in Chicago as of late. Big big mood.
More snowy trains and people waiting on them 🤘🏼
I waited a solid 20-30 minutes during the morning rush hour for two people to stand side-by-side here. Sometimes it’s not meant to be. But hey, I made a lot of awkward eye contact with people coming up the escalator. So I got that going for me.
This morning was wild. Absolutely perfect shooting conditions - fat flakes, not too cold, the perfect amount of wind to create some atmosphere but not make it uncomfortable. I’ll take another please 🙋🏼♂️
Moody mornings in Wicker. Happy snow day everyone 🤙🏼
More snow tomorrow. Hoping for some # t h i c c c c c c f l a k e s
