Just a guy who enjoys reading comics. Here you can find anything of both #DC and #Marvel. (Mostly #DC) Not spoiler free. Page in progress!
Superman used to bore me a lot, now I still don’t like the character but I get why people like him. When he is written well he is amazing and I personally enjoy this issue a lot, probably one of my favorites (I love when he shows the suit for the first time). Do you like Superman?
I have never been a fan of Wolverine (and pretty much of any X-men at all), idk why I’m just super lazy about reading them. Anyways I think this fight is great, how they imagine how their lives could have been if they knew each other earlier while they tear themselves apart is super powerful. Your favorite X-men?
First fact from the book “Anatomy of a Metahuman”. If you want to see more I would appreciate the support because this kind of post take more work. Also, like the comment with the name of which character you want the next fact about or suggest some.
Everyone should read Kyle’s solo and whoever disagrees is wrong. Also, are you liking him in Titans? I’m not disappointed because I actually didn’t expect anything at all lol.
Im talking a lot about Venom but this series is being amazing, I want to see Matt overcome the situation he is in rn and how the story is developing. The art in this issue is pretty great also. Are you reading this series?
I know I say this like every week but the current series is so fucking good, definitely the best Marvel one and probably better than the ones DC have now. In this issue we discover why Eddie’s father hates him and I really like the dilema in the situation and how Eddie has to go though his childhood with that in his consciousness, how he is guilty and a monster but was never punish.
Detective Comics is being so far so good, the issues just catch my attention super easily. Which one are you liking more, Batman or Detective Comics?
Im rereading all the New52 Batman and I forgot how much I like this run, Snyder did a really good job writing it. I also haven’t watched the Far from Home trailer yet and I can’t wait.
I personally like a lot when Superman is corrupted and starts doing crazy shit, and I feel like Batman writers love to make someone control Superman I mean, Endgame, Everyone loves Ivy, Hush, etc, it happens a lot, not that I’m complaining anyway. Also I love how @real greg capullo draws the Justice League members, it amazes me.
I love Shed so much, here is the thing, I usually prefer DC over Marvel because DC has usually darker stories. This story is probably one of the grittiest stories you are gonna read in a while, the best thing is that you don’t expect this in a Spider-Man comic, you expect Peter to calm Connors down with help of his kid and then they go home happily, but instead you get how Connors fades away (I love how is represented when the blue box is tore apart) leaving just the Lizard. (Btw am I a Spider-Man account or some shit, my last four posts are just Spider-Man lmao)
I don’t think I have mention this before but Hawkeye is one of my favorite Marvel heroes and this moment one of the best he has. His 2012 series is superb, that’s what made me like him.
Im really digging this team-up, seeing Miles and Rhino interact is super fun to see, and now that Captain America is a new addition to the team we can see how they are gonna act in front of his figure (I’m mostly curious about Rhino).
This might be the issue that enjoyed the most this week, the art is really good and the writing feels really fresh. I don’t know if I like at all the idea of killing Aunt May, I like heroes being happy (idk why that’s that hard) so they can transmit their happiness and energy to you, but if the death is well handled and written I’m down for it, we could finally see Peter stepping into a new phase of his life which is interesting.
The issue is great, I love seeing my boy Bart again, I get super happy whenever he appears and I’m really looking forward to the series. With that said, I wish we could have got more explanation or stuff like that instead of pure action, and I also feel like Bendis doesn’t really care about the continuity at all. Your thoughts?
First time I read this I had no idea what was going on, now I see it as a dope Hal Jordan panel, the fact that he is able to do that is really interesting.
“Well done, detective”, by far one of my favorite Tim’s panels. This run is amazing, Tim is truly a super interesting character to start reading about, I recommend it.
This is basically the moment that provoques all Watchmen, definitely the most important moment before all it happens.
Have you read any Before Watchmen? This one is my favorite one, it made me like Ozymandias way more than Rorschach, I highly recommend it If you want to go deeper with Watchmen.
