I'm just gonna say this quickly, but honestly if you're hating on Brie Larson as Captain Marvel without even seeing the movie, fuck you. You can dislike her, but saying insults and saying she's a terrible actor is pathetic. I've seen big accounts saying that anyone would be better than Brie as Captain Marvel, which makes 0 sense...y'all haven't even seen her performance? No one said anything about Gal's performance in JL or WW lmao. Don't say because in the trailer she looked "bored", she's brainwashed and trying to remember her old life throughout the movie., she's not gonna be smiling 24/7. Y'all also act like she's Satan himself for giving an opinion, but are okay with what James Gunn says. It doesn't make sense.
To a lot of people, they say that Thor was redeemed and became an interesting character in Ragnarok, and while I agree with that for the most part, something was missing that made him feel really flat, which I believe was made up for in Infinity War when he had the conversation with Rocket. Throughout his entire character story, he has lost a lot: his father, mother, brother(twice) friends, etc. In Ragnarok, the Warriors Three are murdered and he doesn't even mention it. His father also dies and he barely even mourns, but in this scene it's revealed that everyone he lost was everything he truly cared about and their deaths helped motivate him. His acting in this scene is also amazing, you could really feel him reflecting on everything that's happened. Besides that, Infinity War is the first movie where I feel he truly acted as a king by taking more leadership and risks. I'd say more but I'm at school and really wanted to get one of these out to you guys today, anyways, comment down
