Lude House by Grupo Aranea
Cehegín, Murcia, Spain
Lude wanted a house in a tradicional neighbourhood in the city of Cehegin, using the roof of his mother and sister’s house as a plot.

Making the most of its privileged situation, Casa Lude is related to its environment in a particular way. Due to the density of the area it doesn’t open directly to the nearby facades but looks along the narrow streets to see the landscape, the Burete mountains and the San Agustin Hill.

In spite of looking different to the other buildings of the neighbourhood, Casa Lude is as compact and introverted as them.

Instead of a conventional layout of the rooms Casa Lude creates a unique, continuous and rich space on different levels with various heights and directions; a space that Lude fills with music. This space extends to the roof as a natural continuation of the interior life. It is a complex space full of light where a lot of secrets are hidden text&pic via @globalspace :: @next_top_architects_store

photo by @studio_naaro at the @royalacademyarts . The installation was constructed out of serialised timber building block, using Augmented Reality to communicate between the digital model and the physical assembly. The installation itself is a 1:1 test of a spatial fragment of a larger building. The spatial qualities are something close to the Diamonds House project (2016). The project is part of the Invisible Landscapes series, curated by @gonzaloherrero and still up until the 2nd of April :: @next_top_architects_store

by @boonserm_premthada In the project #Elephant World in Thailand's Surin Province, the architecture attempts to describe unique difference between Thai locals and Thai elephant compared to relationship between man and elephant found in other cultures. The elephant is considered a part of the human family structure ,and as a result ,is one of the tamest of all elephants in the world due to their close #emotional ties to their human caretakers. Therefore ,Elephant World isn't viewed as collection of cage for undomesticated animals, but rather large residence for one of the human family members
